“Skin Like Mine!”

First ever purchase!!

Skin Like Mine was my first purchase from the 4 kids Like Mine series. I initially purchased this book to highlight black authors sometime last year and I am so happy that I came across this book. It was always something about it that stood out to me and the illustrations are just too cute!

Here’s what I like most about this book…

Skin Like mine is a book that celebrates diversity amongst kids of all races! One thing this book is sure to do is make you hungry hahaha. There is so many references to food that I literally wanted to make some brownies after I was done reading this book. If you have already read this book, did it make you hungry too? If so, what did you want to make after reading this story? Everything about this book is just so well put together, and the story is guaranteed to spread positivity and make you smile with the biggest grin on your face!
