“Baby Like Mine!”

Do you have a little Brother or Sister?

In the book “Baby like Mine” we are following a little girl and her journey to being a big sister. Is she adjusting? Yes? no? Maybe so? It’s seriously one of the books that will melt your heart and have you saying aww towards the end! I know I did. With the arrival of the new baby in the house, this little girl is reminded by her mom that she will always have space in her heart for both her and her little brother

What is your favorite part of the story?

My favorite part of this story will have to be the ending where the little girl is looking at her baby brother in his crib and lets him know that she will always be there for him if he ever needs her. This reminds me so much of me and my brother (even though he is the oldest) I will always be there for him. Sometimes it can be hard to adjust to a new baby in the house, especially if you are the oldest. But, in this book the little girl is comforted by her mom and is reassured that there will always be room in her heart for the both of them. Now, doesn’t that just give you that “aww so sweet feeling?”
