I am so glad you stopped by. Making reading fun is what I do!
I love books and I especially enjoy choosing which children’s books I am going to promote.
I love you all so much & never forget how much Jesus loves you!
I remember a time when I was in the first grade and my teacher would have us to write mini paragraphs about something that fascinated us throughout the week. This was always fun to do, but there was just one problem….. for some reason, I would never place periods at the end of my sentences. Whenever it came time for my teacher to read the paragraph I wrote, she would read it without taking a breath because of course there weren’t any periods.
After reading my work she would say “Did you see how I did not take a breath?” It was always something about not wanting to add a period in my stories that would get me every time. Because of that very example, I always double check my work and check for any missing punctuation.
Pay close attention to the sentences below and check for any missing periods.
I have a few sentences below! Take a look at them and see if you can read each sentence and don’t forget to stop at each period!!
What did you think of these sentences? Pretty easy? That’s great, but I seem to have forgotten one very important thing in one of the sentences. I believe the sentence that I am looking at reads ” The Cat is asleep”
Do you know what I am forgetting in this sentence? Correct, I am missing the period at the end of the sentence. I couldn’t trick you! Take a look at the picture below. Does everything look correct now?
Yes? I think so too!!
That’s all today kids!!! I’ll see you back here next time for the next post! Any guesses on what the next post is about?
