I am so glad you stopped by. Making reading fun is what I do!
I love books and I especially enjoy choosing which children’s books I am going to promote.
I love you all so much & never forget how much Jesus loves you!
On Saturday of last week, I had the pleasure of reading to a group of kids a book from the Pete the Cat series. The book “Pete the Cat and the perfect pizza party” was perfect for our virtual event! They were able to eat pizza and wings and enjoy this cute little story about Pete’s pizza party. I also put together some fun and cool activities that the kids seemed to enjoy a lot. I was so happy to see that everyone had a fun time and I cannot wait to participate in more events like this again. Along with some more pizza of course!
This activity was honestly my favorite out of all the ones I chose.
In this Pete the Cat activity, we are currently inside “Pete’s Pizzeria. I have listed below all of Pete the Cat’s toppings that he and his friends placed on their pizza. Can you find all of the toppings that were on their pizza in the photo below?
Cheese, pistachios, a papaya, one pickle, popcorn, a pretzel, and a pepperoni.
Yay, I am so glad you were able to find all of the toppings!! Next up I had the kids help me design their very own special pizza. Are you ready to see what they came up with? Take a look at the picture below and tell me what toppings you see on the pizza.
Yes, you are correct!
There are slices of bacon, whole pears, peas, chicken legs (I couldn’t find any boneless chicken pieces), bananas, carrots, and pineapple. I know, it’s a very unusual pizza, but they had so much fun and so did I. Now, it’s your turn. Down below is a picture of a fresh pepperoni pizza straight out of the oven (let’s pretend we cooked it) and it is piping hot. The only thing that is missing is a few more toppings. What toppings do you think I should include? Let me know either through email, Facebook, or you can create your own simply by drawing a picture of your own pizza and adding your own spin to it. And who knows, I might just give you a little shout out here on the site!
