I am so glad you stopped by. Making reading fun is what I do!
I love books and I especially enjoy choosing which children’s books I am going to promote.
I love you all so much & never forget how much Jesus loves you!
I couldn’t wait for Summer and now that it’s here, I am super excited! I can remember as a kids being super excited for the summer to come because I got to go to the park or library whenever I wanted! Eating ice cream was also somewhere in the agenda as well because summer is not complete without a little ice cream.
Any who in today’s post, we are going to talk about some potential ideas that everyone can participate in for the summer!
While creating this post, I wanted to include activities that were both free and some that required a fee. Summer camp is always a go to for families and the fun part about that is you get to sign your kids up for weeks that works best for your schedule.
Summer camp: I highly encourage you all to take a look at the different camps around town and see which ones may interest your child.
Pool and Water park: The pool is always a great way to cool down and so grab your favorite floaties, bathing suit, and a cooler filled with snacks and juices and head out to either you neighborhood pool or a pool closest to you! Splash pads are cool too and word on the street is that they are a big hit with the kids! And of course water parks are always oh so fun as well and will have food and snacks on deck just incase you don’t want to bring your own.
Ice Cream get your Ice cream: So fun fact in any ice cream shop I choose to visit I will always try to find birthday cake flavored ice cream! Head on out to your local ice cream shop today and cool off with a sweet treat!
Read a book: The Library has a ton of FREE books that you are welcome to check out at any given time! There are many different fun titles and some libraries also have a cute little setup in the children’s area where they can sit and read books in a nice quiet but kiddy space.
Arts and crafts: I absolutely love a good arts and crafts activity and it is a sure way to keep the kids busy. A few pieces of construction paper, crayons, and some markers can go a long way!
Watch a movie: I recall a time when I worked at a summer camp where we would take the kids to go see a dollar movie and they would get the kids snack pack and have a ball. Now, I don’t know if that is an option where you live and yes some of the movies were online, but it was a great way to get the kids out the house! Movies in the park are also a hit as well!
Going to the zoo: I absolutely love the zoo and any chance I get to go, I always do! It will for sure be fun for the whole fam!
Go to the park: Last but not least; LET’S GO TO THE PARK!!!!! The park is always a great time and the kids can have a lot of fun and get some good rest afterwards!
