I am so glad you stopped by. Making reading fun is what I do!
I love books and I especially enjoy choosing which children’s books I am going to promote.
I love you all so much & never forget how much Jesus loves you!
Since Easter is almost upon us, the Dollar stores are packed with candy, toys, easter eggs, and so much more! Depending on where you live, Dollar Tree has probably gone up to $1.25. I know, I was shocked myself!! Like, nooo Dollar Tree wasn’t supposed to change. But hey, it’s ok because I was able to purchase some neat stuff on last week. There were so many items to choose from that I didn’t know where to begin.
I absolutely love a good puzzle and bubble set! Imagine my excitement when I found my favorite kid show of all time in “puzzle form. Can you guess what was my favorite show when I was your age? Give up? It was “Arthur!!” Yes, I actually found a puzzle with Arthur and all of his friends in Dollar tree. There was also one with his sister D.W. on it as well. Next up, I had to find some bubbles and that wasn’t a hard task at all. I eventually chose some easter ones that are just too cute!
I am starting to get into calligraphy, so I was able to find a beginners booklet in the workbook aisle. I also purchased a coloring book titled “Colors of the world” in hopes to use this while working with students. Charlie Brown and his Ready to Read book was also amongst one of my many purchases. You all know how much I love a good “Ready to read” book and this was perfect to add to my bookshelf.
Yes, I was able to purchase a small thing of Nickelodeon pink slime. I started getting into slime during lunchtime with a few of the students I work with and had a blast. Ever since then, I have been trying to either make slime or find some. This one that I recently purchased is still growing on me so hopefully when I am not making slime, I can find one that I like.
Last but certainly not least, I was able to find a Monopoly Game! Yes, a little small Monopoly game was for sale at Dollar Tree. Along with the game “Sorry” and a few others as well. I absolutely love this game and so I am hoping that my students will love it also!
The picture below features all of my lovely items.
Well, thats all for now! Love ya, but remember Jesus loves you so much more!
